Another trip with Clive ! The main aim was to go on as many charter boat trips as possible to see Orca in the wild. May 2016

We were land based but went out everyday on Sea Wolf 2. Each trip was 4 hours and most days we went out twice.
Monterey Bay is renowned for its' abundance of cetaceans. It's home to the Monterey Submarine Canyon, a massive underwater chasm deeper than the Grand Canyon full of nutrient rich waters. This makes it a prime location for Blue Whales. Also saw Humpbacks, Pacific White sided dolphins. Northern Right Whale Dolphons, Common Dolphins, Minke Whale, Sunfish
This was my earliest specific wildlife camera trip (2016) A journey I can see reflected in these photos compared to later trips.
